We warmly recommend the following youth retreat organised by the Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe:
Your Jr. Youth (10 to 13-year olds) are invited to participate in the first ever Convocation Jr. Youth Retreat - which will be held in Munich, Germany – May 17-20, 2012. The retreat is sponsored by the Youth Commission (YC) of the Convocation.
The Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe is a collection of churches, mission congregations, and specialized ministries spread geographically over five countries in continental Europe. The Convocation includes eight parishes: All Saints' (Waterloo, Belgium); Cathedral of the Holy Trinity (Paris, France); Frankfurt, Church of Christ the King (Frankfurt, Germany); Church of the Ascension (Munich, Germany); St. Augustine of Canterbury (Wiesbaden, Germany); St. James Church (Florence, Italy); St. Paul's-within-the-Walls (Rome, Italy); and Emmanuel Church (Geneva, Switzerland); as well as Missions (thriving communities that are not yet full parishes) in Austria, France and Germany.
The Convocation has had great success with Youth Across Europe (a yearly retreat for the older youth) for many years. These retreats give our youth a chance to meet other Christian youth from around the world and to broaden their faith together.
Costs for the weekend are a 10€ registration fee (room and board is provided by the Convocation) and travel expenses. A detailed flyer with registration form will be sent soon.
