Sermons from St George’s

"Food for Faith"

We are proud to announce the publication of

“Food for Faith”

a collection of sermons to mark St George’s anniversary year. 125 years ago in 1884 the foundation stone of the first St George’s Church in Berlin was laid in what is now Monbijou park and 15 years ago St George’s became a civilian church once again after serving as the garrison church of the British Army in a new building in Preußenalleee from 1950 to 1994. We have chosen 12 sermons from our current pastors, Rev. Christopher Jage-Bowler and Rev. Dr. Irene Ahrens, which we hope may provide you with plentiful food for faith!

"Food for Faith” is available at the Sunday services in Preussenallee and the Marienkirche for 3 Euros a copy. A donation, if possible, of 2 Euros to cover printing costs would be appreciated.

Copies can also be ordered for the same price (plus postage) through the church office at St Georges Anglican Church Berlin
